B. Field of Construction Supervision

According to the Law on Construction Services, construction services include consulting services for construction planning, implementation services for construction works, and consulting services for construction supervision. Construction supervision activities refer to all or part of the planning and/or implementation processes that are carried out in conjunction with supervisory tasks. These tasks encompass architectural layout, civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental aspects of each work component, including their accessories, in order to realize a complete building or structure.

In 2018/2019, the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Public Works (DPKPCK) of Malang Regency facilitated the construction of an apartment building designated for Civil Servants (ASN). The groundbreaking ceremony for the ASN apartment was held on February 8, 2018, and it was officially inaugurated on December 11, 2019, by Mr. M. Hidayat, Director of Public Apartments, Directorate General of Housing Provision, Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Malang Regency Government submitted a request to the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) to convert the function of the ASN apartment building. Since 2020 until the present, the ASN apartment has been repurposed as a Safe House for Covid-19 Patients in Malang Regency.
